Viticulture Characteristics

Mid ripening but berries are prone to splitting and developing sour rot with autumn rains. Berries are small and in compact clusters. Susceptible to botrytis and downy mildew.

Wine Characteristics

Deep colored, aromatic, well structured tannins with flavors of sour cherry, blackberry, smoke, and spice.
