Viticulture Characteristics

A highly vigorous, productive and winter hardy varietal. Early budding; moderately susceptible to powdery mildew, downy mildew and Botrytis bunch rot.

Wine Characteristics

Classic hybrid aroma, makes dark red wines with better tannin structure than some hybrids. In warm seasons, flavors of cherry or other red fruits.
