Many of Australia's Albarino vines were actually Sauvignon Blanc due to a labeling error.

Viticulture Characteristics

Moderately vigourous. Mid budding and early-mid ripening. Small bunches of medium sized thick skinned berries. Susceptible to downy and powdery mildew, and mites. Best suited for dry soils.

Fruity and floral; linden, orange, acacia blossom, lemongrass, honeysuckle, grapefruit, bergamot, peach, and green apple. Salinity depending on where it has grown
